We have a choice of two restaurants.
The Garden Room Restaurant has a menu with more casual dishes such
as pate, whitebait and garlic mushrooms as starters and omelettes,
salads, burgers and steaks for main courses. Prices for starters are
around £3.50 while main courses are from £5.95 up to £9.95
for a sirloin steak with all the trimmings.
We also have a variety of specials which are on
the chalk board by the side of the bar. These can be served either
in the bar or the Garden Room. For those in a hurry at lunch time
we have a snack selection which includes sandwiches, filled potatoes,
baguettes and ploughman’s lunches. |
Our other restaurant offers an
a la carte menu with a wider range of dishes. Choose from a range
of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes with a choice of delicious sauces.
All the dishes are cooked to order using fresh ingredients and the
finest meat, fish and vegetables from the best of the regions suppliers.
It is an ideal venue for a birthday or anniversary and dishes can
be tailored to suit all tastes.
If a private dining room is preferred we can offer our “Darnley Room” which can seat up to 50 people for a function. This is suitable for smaller weddings but the hotel can also accommodate up to 120 for evening or finger buffet type receptions. We also have a carvery which is available at Sunday Lunch (in addition to our normal menu). The price for a main course is £6.50 + £3.50 for dessert and half price drinks. Bookings are advisable for the carvery. |
